‘REDEFINING IMPOSSIBLE’
NORway training
The ‘Redefining Impossible’ expedition team is a pioneering journey to Antarctica later in 2025. The team of four adventurers made up of Darren Edwards, Matthew Biggar, Lucy Shepard and Dwayne Fields aims to make history by embarking on a world-record sit-ski expedition to the South Pole.
I was invited out onto a training trip with Darren and Matthew to the Artic tundra surrounding Finse, Norway to help document them in action pulling pulks, team portraits and the skills and drills needed to achieve their goal of reaching the South Pole. This involved taking high quality stills and video for the expedition documentary alongside capturing arial footage on the drone showing the vast landscapes and team from above.
Whilst out on the training, I also captured a variety of goggle and glasses product stills and team portraits for Vallon, one of the expedition teams sponsors, as well as producing a short ambassador video of Darren for Vallon.
